Hot Wheels 2010 Twinduction

One of my new favorites from the 2010 Stunt series, the Twinduction. I found this one in gold, at a petrol station when I was washing my car. This so far is the only model I like which is not from the Showroom series. I love it because of its unique design by Hot Wheels and also because this one is in gold. What do you think? Hot Wheels - Ferrari 1990 Gold Classic Racer

I realized I didn't post anything on Monday, as I was feeling unwell for two days since that day. But I've got a lot of new models to show you among the new additions to my collection. First and foremost, I managed to find a Porsche Carrera GT in the store shelves. A lucky find! And next week I've got a few Ferrari's to show such as the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and the 458 Spyder. I'm also in the midst of acquiring the Ferrari 599xx which I'm most excited for! If it arrives by next week, I'll definitely feature it on my blog the day it arrives :)

But for now, here's a 1990 classic Ferrari I managed to dig out of the box at my grandmum's place.

Though it's quite old, I do appreciate classics. Not really my favorite, but it's still quite satisfying to have found it. It's a bit scratched up, with the wheels also slightly rusted out and the body color is still quite close to perfect. This I must say, is a good addition for any classic model collectors.

History

I used to collect Hot Wheels models before, especially these 1:64 scale models. When I was growing up as a kid, I used to play with them a lot when I owned a Hot Wheels city set (you know? The ones with the plastic-made roads, with different sets such as the Car Wash set, Car Park set, Police Station set, etc, which could be joined up with all the roads). Oh how I miss those days playing and growing up with those. Then one day as I was near the end of my high school days, I decided to sell my Hot Wheels collection as I needed the money. But my mistake which I regret to this very day, was not knowing the true value of each of my models. And so I sold about 113 1:64 scale models for only RM100. I feel like kicking myself every time I think about that day.

Now I've just grown into the 20's, and I feel proud in starting my Hot Wheels collection again. It's been tough, deciding whether to get into the hobby again. But here I am, doing what makes me happy! And I'm sharing with all you readers here, my collection.
