Maisto - Mini Cooper

Yes, I've noticed it's not a Hot Wheels model today. But I found this among the other Hot Wheels models such as the Hot Wheels Steel Flame which I previously featured here.

Not much of a collection, but I got two, and I heard the value for two of these is slightly higher than its original value a few years ago. And the design though quite scratched up, is not so bad. As you noticed, both have different rims design. The green one has better 5 spoke sports rims than the red I must say. But overall besides the color, they're both exactly the same. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below :)

Hot Wheels - Steel Flame

Today I present to you 2 latest grabs I found at my grandmum's place. Apparently, she has a bunch of Hot Wheels models stored in a box that my cousin and I use to play with when we were kids. Now that we're both grown up and no longer play with them, she keeps them in that box and I decided to 'borrow' a few to show you all :) I will return them definitely, soon! haha

I researched these two identical models and discovered that there are more of these but in different designs. But with me, I have the black Steel Flames, from the 2005 Hot Wheels edition and the copper Steel Flames from the Hot Wheels Crank ITZ 2004 editions.

Nothing much to say about these two, except that the whole design is spectacular, especially with the low rider theme to it like the real car itself. So I'll just let the pictures do the talking today :)

Back To The Past - Hot Wheels 2013 Green Chevy Camaro Special Edition

Hi, another post right after the previous thread. I know it's quite fast, and suddenly this blog has become more active than it was. I'm trying not to post up too many threads in a week, aiming for 3 threads a week, as I want to spread out my reviews on my collection. Because I'm trying to limit myself to adding 3-4 cars to my collection a month. So if I post up threads too frequent, I won't have much to show.

But today is an exception as I'm too excited. I have these photos in my computer library begging me to post these up for you. This specific model is interesting to me not just because it's fast and was featured in Transformers, but the detail of it and the color choice is just amazing. A yellow Camaro looks great, who'd knew a GREEN Camaro would look good too? If I had a top 10, I'd put this up in my top 10 of my collection. The rims are sweet too! The red lining goes so well with the base color, I just can't describe my excitement for this car.

Ok. Don't want to blabber off too much, I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do :)

Hot Wheels 2012 Series - Porsche Boxster Spyder

Today I show you one of my grabs I found at a petrol station while washing my car. Who knew they'd have Hot Wheels models for sale at a petrol station? There were plenty of cool cars on the rack, so this was one of em'.

Out of all the Porsche models castings from Hot Wheels, I personally think this one has a sort of a 'cute' look? haha As its a Boxster, a white and a convertible, what more could you ask for in a Boxster? I was considering ordering the Porsche 911 off eBay but this one would do for now. Maybe next month when my budget is better.

About this car, I noticed it was quite common on the shelves as I saw some at Carrefour and Tesco as well, but how can you deny grabbing a Porsche into your collection? Not for me at least. The rims look quite cool with the whole size and color of the car, though a 10 spoke rim would do quite well too in my opinion, but who's complaining? The black interior does quite well with the car too. I think the only thing about most Hot Wheels models are of the missing tampos on the headlights/taillights. Like this model, the taillight paints are not present. So I'd have to paint it myself, which knowing my poor painting skills, is gonna be a terrible job. I'll probably work on painting and customizing soon in the near future.

And now the pictures! But before that, it'd be awesome if you could let me know in the comment section below which one of the Porsche models should be on my next post? Maybe either the Porsche 911 GT3 or the Porsche Carrera GT?

Here they are! I hope it's better than the pictures in my previous post :)

Hot Wheels 2013 Showroom Series - 2009 Corvette Stingray Concept (Orange)

One of my latest grab, I found this one staring at me on the shelves along with other exotic models which I can't clearly remember, but one of em' was the Yellow Enzo Ferrari (2013 Showroom Series). Because I was low on cash and there wasn't an ATM machine nearby, I picked this one.

This one caught my attention not just because of its striking orange color, but also because of it's sleek modern design and also because it's a Corvette! haha I was thinking to get this one customized, to paint up the front grill and add some yellow or red tail lights. I also like the 5 spoke sport rims which suits quite well with the whole car. The side tampos are brilliant with a nice choice of white color, though I think they could've done better. There's nothing much to be seen for the interior as it's tinted black. But I must say, the design looks slightly better than the real thing itself. Though I wish I could've found the black or silver color one instead.

Sometimes I do regret selecting this one and could've picked the Enzo Ferrari instead. But to put it this way, it's a Corvette! haha

In another topic, I'm currently in the midst of setting up my own mini studio for my Hot Wheels models. So hopefully, if set up right, I'll have better photos to show you of all my collections.

More to come! :)

For now, here's photos of my newly acquired addition to my collection:
