Hot Wheels 2012 Series - Porsche Boxster Spyder

Today I show you one of my grabs I found at a petrol station while washing my car. Who knew they'd have Hot Wheels models for sale at a petrol station? There were plenty of cool cars on the rack, so this was one of em'.

Out of all the Porsche models castings from Hot Wheels, I personally think this one has a sort of a 'cute' look? haha As its a Boxster, a white and a convertible, what more could you ask for in a Boxster? I was considering ordering the Porsche 911 off eBay but this one would do for now. Maybe next month when my budget is better.

About this car, I noticed it was quite common on the shelves as I saw some at Carrefour and Tesco as well, but how can you deny grabbing a Porsche into your collection? Not for me at least. The rims look quite cool with the whole size and color of the car, though a 10 spoke rim would do quite well too in my opinion, but who's complaining? The black interior does quite well with the car too. I think the only thing about most Hot Wheels models are of the missing tampos on the headlights/taillights. Like this model, the taillight paints are not present. So I'd have to paint it myself, which knowing my poor painting skills, is gonna be a terrible job. I'll probably work on painting and customizing soon in the near future.

And now the pictures! But before that, it'd be awesome if you could let me know in the comment section below which one of the Porsche models should be on my next post? Maybe either the Porsche 911 GT3 or the Porsche Carrera GT?

Here they are! I hope it's better than the pictures in my previous post :)

Hot Wheels 2013 Showroom Series - '73 Pontiac Firebird

Before I get to it, I woke up extra early today to drive to the post office nearby to collect my new package. Something which I found and ordered on eBay which I think is a good deal knowing a few days later the seller raised his price slightly higher than the price I bought it for. I'll definitely feature it soon when I can figure out how to get the package of the car open without damaging it.

Today I look at one of my grabs I found a few weeks ago, the '73 Pontiac Firebird. Although there's nothing much about this model, I do admire the tampos on the whole car. The choice of color on the flames along the sides is brilliant especially because it's one of my favorite colors. I do have the urge to change the wheels, or probably add some color to it, but that's my taste. Other than that, I don't have much to say about this one, so I'll just let the pictures do the talking :)

The car still in its package, unopened. Took me quite some time to get it open without damaging it, but failed miserably.

And we move on to its studio pictures:

Trial Run Photos

It's the time I've been waiting for the most. I have finally set up my small mini photo studio for my collection, to bring to you beautiful quality photos of each of them. So last night, I managed to just do a trial run on a few loose cars I had with me displayed in my room.

One of them was the BMW 3 Series but at a scale of 1:59 instead of the normal 1:64 scale models I have. This one I got a few years back from RealToy. Another model I did for my trial run photos was this two Nascar race cars I got also a few years back as a gift. Hope you like my attempts, though it's nothing much, it's something better than photos with weird and unrealistic backgrounds. haha If you do have comments, do let me know in the comments section below this post.

Without further or due, here they are for you to enjoy, my trial run photos:
