*New Arrival

Look what came in the mail today! :) Been wanting to pair this one with my Acura NSX Concept, two brilliant supercars. This one which I specially ordered from my local supplier from Klang, who I got my Volkswagen Golf GTI from not too long ago.

Came in the mail today!

The Pagani Huayra, Showroom edition, which I will review and share with you probably in the next post or two. I'm still in the midst of setting up my small photo studio for my models, so that I can upload better photos for all of you to see. So it'll take some time, please bear with me.

Hot Wheels 2013 Showroom Series - 2009 Corvette Stingray Concept (Orange)

One of my latest grab, I found this one staring at me on the shelves along with other exotic models which I can't clearly remember, but one of em' was the Yellow Enzo Ferrari (2013 Showroom Series). Because I was low on cash and there wasn't an ATM machine nearby, I picked this one.

This one caught my attention not just because of its striking orange color, but also because of it's sleek modern design and also because it's a Corvette! haha I was thinking to get this one customized, to paint up the front grill and add some yellow or red tail lights. I also like the 5 spoke sport rims which suits quite well with the whole car. The side tampos are brilliant with a nice choice of white color, though I think they could've done better. There's nothing much to be seen for the interior as it's tinted black. But I must say, the design looks slightly better than the real thing itself. Though I wish I could've found the black or silver color one instead.

Sometimes I do regret selecting this one and could've picked the Enzo Ferrari instead. But to put it this way, it's a Corvette! haha

In another topic, I'm currently in the midst of setting up my own mini studio for my Hot Wheels models. So hopefully, if set up right, I'll have better photos to show you of all my collections.

More to come! :)

For now, here's photos of my newly acquired addition to my collection:

Hot Wheels 2013 Showroom Series - Acura NSX Concept

Today, I introduce to you one of my personal favorites which caught my eye on a Malaysian online store from a seller (which now I consider one of the main suppliers I look for when searching for a specific model) who sold this to me at a very good price.

Considered a very big change compared to its older model, the Acura NSX Concept has really modernized its looks and is so identical to the real thing. This one for me personally is a big catch.

The Lamley's Group photos are amazing by the way. Just look at the detail of the whole model. The tampos are looking stunning and so detailed. And I absolutely love the 5 spoke sports wheels. I could just stare at the model for hours. I had thoughts of customizing this myself, to add a slightly different design. But then again, this simple and elegant design is quite satisfying enough for me.

As always, I keep it sealed in the box looking like new. But this one took some damage during the delivery process and the plastic casing has bent :( But the car still looks good in perfect condition.

Hot Wheels 2013 Showroom Series - Silver Volkswagen Golf GTI

I came across this one online last month and just had to get it. Got it from another fellow Hot Wheels collector in Johor, one of the first die cast model I actually ordered online in my life. haha!

I wanted to get this model as I love the Volkswagen Golf in real life. It's sleek, small and cunning design, but under the hood has a powerful turbocharged engine. Recently had the chance to sit in the backseat of one, it really interested me to save up to get my own in the future. But since that's still a long way to go, I decided to get myself a 1:64 scale one from Hot Wheels instead.

The only thing that I didn't really fancy about this one though is the red interior. It just looks too red with not much variation of detail and color. They could've at least added a simple black lining design or a black base color with red lining for the interior as the red base color just looks too plain and unrealistic.

I realized that there are two versions to this model. The light blue one and the silver one, which I have now. I think in my own personal opinion, the silver one really looked more sleek and stylish for me, while the blue one which had yellow color rims, just reminded me of candy and looked as if you could just grab it out of the box and eat it. lol

Hot Wheels 2013 Showroom Series - Green Chevy Camaro Special Edition

One of my latest grabs, the Green Chevy Camaro Special Edition, in the Showroom Series.

This specific Hot Wheels model caught my interest because of the unusual striking color of the metallic green body and red lining rims. It's stunning to me! Though I still owe my girlfriend RM7.50 for helping me buy this, it's really worth it.

I truly respect keeping the car in its mint condition, which means keeping it sealed in its original package. Who knows? Down the road the value of this might just increase thanks to its stunning detail of the model and maybe becoming rare among collectors? Just saying. But yeah, its staying in the package unless I decide to take it out and play with it or something, or put it on display on my upcoming personal project. I'll talk more about that later. :)
